How does it print?

Nylon and Eco-ABS prints are what that this machine proves itself to offer. Loading the filament into the 3D45 is simple and with no complications.
Your filament spool snaps very easily into place in the print chamber. There’s also a clip that ensures that your filament is in the right position as it is being fed into the material extruder.

With the Eco-ABS looking good in the final prints, can Dremel deliver on their promise of handling Nylon filament? The verdict seems to be not as as well as the Eco-ABS. When tested with one of the american manufacturer’s test prints, things didn’t turn out so well.
For those running test prints on their Nylon material, you might need to increase the bed temperature in order for your first layer of material to stick to the bed properly. Other possible problems include layers of material not sticking together properly. Initial test prints may break into pieces when you remove them from the print bed.
We recommend makers and teachers to focus on printing with Eco-ABS more to avoid print problems, and for a smoother printing experience. If you’re maker that wants to experiment more with foreign material, we recommend you to not expect the same quality as Dremel’s proprietary materials provided.
The best quality prints you can expect are from Dremel’s non-nylon materials. Although their in-house PLA’s, Petg’s and Eco-Abs may be a bit more expensive than materials elsewhere, it is still worth the print quality to stick to Dremel’s materials.
