[ About the author ]Ric Ruben
Ric Ruben started Get 3D Printer after buying the wrong printer twice.
He does not own the machines on this site and does not claim to have tested them. Every recommendation here is built from manufacturer specifications, independent lab testing, and what owners actually report after months of living with a machine. Each one is sourced in the text so you can check the working yourself. If a printer is wrong for you, this site will say so.
- No printer on this site was tested in a workshop. We say so on every page.
- Every specification, price and owner report is sourced in the text.
- Discontinued machines are labelled, with the current replacement linked.
How the research works
Taken from the manufacturer's own current listing, with the price and the date it was checked written into the page.
Named lab and publication testing, cited in the text rather than summarised into an invented score.
Recurring themes from owner threads and retailer questions, synthesised and linked, never copied and never invented.
What you will not find here
No made-up review scores. No printer we cannot buy or cannot recommend. No claim that a machine was tested in a workshop that does not exist. Where a printer is discontinued, the page says so and points at what replaced it. Full method: how we research.
