About Get 3D Printer
Get 3D Printer compares current 3D printers for people who are choosing between models and want a straight answer.
The site covers FDM and resin printers from Creality, Elegoo, Anycubic, Snapmaker, Bambu Lab and others, plus plain-English guides to every 3D printing technology.
Who runs it
Get 3D Printer is written and run by Ric Ruben. The site started in 2021 as a set of guides to how 3D printing works and has since moved toward buying help: reviews, head-to-head comparisons and a price table.
How we research printers
We do not own or test the printers on this site, and no page claims to. Every review and comparison starts from the manufacturer's specifications and documentation, then checks them against what owners report in forums and verified buyer reviews. When the two disagree, we say so.
We do not invent review scores. If a detail is not available yet, the page says it is pending. When a printer is discontinued, its review stays up for owners and, where we can, points to a current machine to look at instead. The full method is on how we research.
How the site makes money
Some buy buttons are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the store pays us a small commission and your price stays the same. Our current partner stores are Creality, Elegoo, Anycubic and Snapmaker. Every affiliate link on the site has a disclosure above it.
We only join programs that pay cash commission. Bambu Lab's program pays in store credit, so we link to Bambu Lab's store without an affiliate link and earn nothing from those clicks. We still cover its printers because readers compare against them.
What this site does not do. We do not sell printers, take payments, or handle orders, returns or warranties. Every purchase happens on the manufacturer's own store, under that store's terms.
